Admissions
Gateway Academy currently have some spaces in some year groups available for in year admissions. You will need to contact the school office either via telephone or the office email for an application pack.
You then fill out this paperwork and return it to the office. A member of the Senior Leadership Team will then meet with you and your child to visit and ask any questions you may have. Once the paperwork has all been finalised and uniform has been purchased, a start date will be agreed.

Determined Admission Arrangements Notice 2026/27
Further to a period of public consultation held between Date to Date, the Governing Body of Gateway Academy formally determine the admission arrangements for the academic year of entry 2026/27 in accordance with Regulation 17 of the School Admissions Regulations 2012. During this academic year of 2026/27, it has now been agreed that the Academy's PAN will formally reduce from 90 to 60.
The process of consultation and determination was carried out in accordance with the Admissions Code and associated regulations.
In accordance with Regulation 21 of the Regulations and Section 88 of the SSFA 1998, any person or body who considered that any maintained school or Academy's arrangements are unlawful, or not compliant with the Code or relevant law relating to admissions, can make an objection to the Schools Adjudicator.

Determined Admission Arrangements Notice 2025/26
In accordance with Regulation 17 of the School Admissions Regulations 2012, admission arrangements must be formally determined by the responsible admission authority.
The Governing Body of Gateway Academy hereby formally determine the admission arrangements for the academic year of entry 2025/26. No changes were made to the admission arrangements from the previous year with the exception of statutory dates.
